Folks, it's been an absolute whirlwind. We were in San Diego with Bob Weatherwax and Laddie last weekend and were approached to help defeat this mandatory spay/neuter bill this dummy who has never owned a pet is trying to pass. The short story is, if passed, it would kill the service dog industry and the bloodline of Lassie. Bob Barker was there FOR the bill. Honestly, grown men were pushing each other out of the way to see Timmy and Lassie...it was so cool. Emails have been pouring in from all across the country as everyone who breeds dogs and cats is watching. This morning Jon Shepodd called from London. He'd seen Jon on CNN! In between, I finished Jon's autobio -- 7 years in the making! Out in October: TIMMY'S IN THE WELL.

AND I got a part in a film!!! The lead is the fabulous Shirley Knight (google her if you don't know her. I'm so not worthy!) Before I shoot, I dash to LA to work with a woman on my NEXT book about Lucille Ball!! My head is spinning.
