I'll be talking with Brooke Anderson on Showbiz Tonight this Friday on CNN. The subject -- divorce scandals in Hollyood thru the ages...as Durante used to say, "I got a million of 'em."

Hi,
Been away for awhile...my closest friend suffered a brain hemmorhage (I can never spell that word) a week ago
and I have been plunged into despair and worry. Tommorow I head for LA, then Pomona for the Collie National -- like Westminster for collies. Jon, my husband, is very popular there, to say the least. I'm torn between the two...hoping nothing happens to my friend while I'm out in Pomona...it's been a tough week with one more to go...
Love to all,
L

Wasp Spray
A friend who is a receptionist in a high risk area was concerned about someone coming into the office to rob them. She asked the local police department about using pepper spray and they recommended to her that she get a can of wasp spray instead.
The wasp spray, they told her, can shoot up to twenty feet away and is a lot more accurate, while with the pepper spray, they have to get too close to you and could overpower you.. The wasp spray temporarily blinds an attacker until they get to the hospital for an antidote.. She keeps a can on her desk in the office and it doesn't attract attention from people like a can of pepper spray would. She also keeps one nearby at home for home protection.. . Thought this was interesting and might be of use..

Thanks, Lora. We love you!
And speaking of Jon, we found this site today about Jon's star on the Walk of Fame...I'll have to get busy providing info. Anyone who wants to help...please do!

"The charm of history and its enigmatic lesson consist in the fact that, from age to age, nothing changes and yet everything is completely different." - Aldous Huxley.
