A new day

Hey...occasionally, I'll post correspondance from friends and fans...so drop me a line at lauriejacobson@juno.com

I just finished editing a video interview with Olympic champion Greg Louganis. What a great guy...and so handsome. It'll be up on the snoutsinyourtown.com site in a few weeks. Check out what else my husband Jon and I have done for them in their archives section: Dogiwash, CFA Cat Show and Have Dog...Will Travel

Gotta fly; more soon,
Laurie

Dorrit from Walnut Creek, CA

Hi Laurie,
Just wanted your opinion of the new book by Donald Wolfe, "The Black Dahlia Files:The Mob, The Mogul, and the Murder That Transfixed Los Angeles"? (sure is a long title!) Is it worth the read?
I would love for you to do a book on child stars, or silent film stars like Keaton, Laurel and Hardy, etc. I liked Hollywood Heartbreak", but enjoyed "Dishing" even more. You really went into questionable deaths, like Inger Stevens, and Dorothy Kilgallen. I remember being a kid, and my family watching "What's My Line", with her and Henry Morgan. I also fondly remember Gary Moore on "I've Got A Secret". I remember how he was forgotten by the media, and he was VERY ill before he died... Monty Clift-what a talent, what a waste...
I also have a question, which has nothing to do with anything above! Do you know whatever happened to that VERY strange woman, Erin Fleming? She was Groucho's "manager", who in the end was sued by Groucho's son, Arthur.(I think)
Can't wait for your next book, even though I know you're helping others write theirs!

Dorrit

Welcome Home

Hi Everyone,
Welcome to my new blog. The spam at my old guestbook was MERCILESS! My blog is the cure. I look forward to hearing from you.

I just returned from 5 days in Panama. The rainforest was absolutely amazing. The people are so friendly and welcoming...a wonderful place. It's hard settling back in. Much to catch up on. More soon.
Laurie
